Privacy
Short version: we collect very little, we don’t run ads, and we don’t sell or rent anyone’s data.
What we collect
- What you send us. If you use the listing form, we store what you type in: listing, business name, website, neighborhood, contact email, your message, and whether you ticked the review-reply checkbox. If you email us, we have your email. We use this only to check and update listings and to reply to you. We contact you about the review-reply service only if you ticked that box.
- Visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn’t use cookies or build a profile of you; we only see totals such as which pages are visited.
- Product analytics. We use Amplitude to see how the site is used. It records page views and clicks on the “Book online”, “Request appointment”, “Call” and “Website” buttons (which listing and which page), with an anonymous device ID that Amplitude stores in your browser so repeat visits can be counted together. Each event is labeled with this site’s name. It also records that the listing form was sent and whether the review-reply box was ticked, but never what you typed: no form contents, names, emails or phone numbers. Amplitude is set not to record your IP address with these events. We don’t give Amplitude a name or account for you, and we don’t use it for ads.
That’s all. There are no accounts, no ads, no advertising cookies, and no newsletter sign-up.
Who else handles data
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which also stores form submissions for us. Like any web host, it processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and block abuse. The site’s fonts load from Google Fonts, and the Amplitude script loads from Amplitude’s servers, so your browser connects to Google and Amplitude when you open a page. Amplitude (amplitude.com) receives the page-view and click events described above. We don’t share your information with anyone else, except if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions and emails while they’re useful for keeping a listing accurate. Ask us and we’ll delete yours.
